Stag and Swallows
Inspired by a bronze sculpture of Hercules, a Warnham Deer Farm Stag,
Made by David Schaefer
Autumn is a magical time when the Red Deer start to rut.
We are surrounded by Red Deer as we back onto the Deer Farm and with Warnham Deer Park in front of our house.
Red Stags are in hard antler by late August early September just as the Swallows are preparing to leave the country.
They swoop and scream across the park then suddenly they're gone.
