Young Kingfishers – it’s been years since I last painted Kingfishers and after seeing the beautiful birds at my local Nature Reserve, I decided it was time to paint them again. This is the acrylic under-painting which will then be worked up in oil while I am artist in residence at Nature in Art in October.
